stressed out.

I have so many things due this week... :(

Monday: 3 quizzes and hw

Wednesday: Midterm

Thursday: Exam and project

Hopefully I do well on everything! I hate that I have to work at the fair today!!! Sorry Jalene for dragging you with me! love you! :) At least we can eat good food right?!?

Okay, back to my studies! I think I need to pray!!!

Yesterday was one of those days where you smile to yourself and think, life is good. :) My classes went well, and we ended an hour early! I was influenced by a few of my classmates to go for a swim after class! The recommendation couldn't have been better! The weather was perfect and the sun was shining bright! I went to Baldwin beach first, then went to the Country Club for a swim. I forgot how much of a workout swimming laps were. After swimming, I laid out in the sun and it felt great! Also, one tree hill and gossip girl started! Didn't get to watch it yet--so don't tell me what happened! :)

Today was also a great day! Class went well, and we also ended early again! :) Right after, Jalene, Kelly and I went to lunch! It was very yummy! Great friends + Great conversations + Great Food = Priceless!!! Thanks guys :)

Now, back to studying for my dent 164 exam and dent 151 quiz tomorrow!

its been a while.

I can't believe I haven't written in this thing since May--actually I believe it. lol. Since then many things changed. For one, I moved home (still adjusting to the fact im not on my own, and living with the parents once again), and two going to mcc's dental assisting program, and not going to school in vegas anymore. It's been kind of crazy since I've been home...

June 18: Came home to beautiful Maui. The day before I got home I flew to seattle for the night because I couldn't get on my flight home :( But the trip to seattle was worth it.

The rest of June I worked everyday for mommy and daddy :) And took a summer school class until August.

July: Same as June...worked everyday and enjoyed a lot of family time :) And also enjoyed going to O-Bon with Jalene and Mika :) Good times!

August: Interesting month. Worked until I went on my trip to seattle to visit family friends :) I got to go to 2 Mariners game (sooo much fun, finally got to see my yankees), a lot of site seeing and ate plenty of good food! :) Can't wait for my next vacation! :)

Also, school started! I did not realize how much work we had, but its a good thing...it's keeping me busy! Jalene and Mika knows how horrible my first day went! I had 2 banana's in my bag and both got smashed before I could eat them :( It was seriously terrible. I could smell it in class, so I wasted 2 perfect, yummy banana's! Then, I think it was last week when I brought a bag of sun chips with me...and can you guess what happened??? Yup, it popped open and chips ended up in my bag :( I seriously have issues sometimes! lol.

***Tomorrow lunch with Jalene! Can't wait, it feels like forever***

Now back to studying...quiz tomorrow!

here's to a fabulous week.

This week was great! :) This past weekend me and mish joined some friends to SD. It was so fun, I didn't want to return to vegas! The people there were really nice, chill environment, had a BEACH and had great night life activities! Thinking about it makes me miss it even more. :(

I also had a great week at school. I did very well on both of my quizzes! Plus I finally had a week with no exams! But...I have 2 exams and 1 quiz next week, 2 finals the week after, and 2 more finals the following week! I hope I do well on all of them. :) 

I also found out that I have an interview on May 8th! I'm very excited and nervous, but I know I will do fine. :)

Pray for me that all goes well!!! :)

missing you.

Today marks the one year anniversary of my Grandma Susan's passing. I think about her everyday as well as my other grandparents that passed. I can't believe a year has passed already! I can still hear her voice and her laugh! :) She seriously had the best laugh in the world, P would try to do it all the time. :)

Grandma Susan was very special to all of us. She was always full of energy, loved playing golf, dancing odori, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was also very talented--she was the best quilter, seamstress, odori dancer, and made the best corned beef hash patties and won ton chips! :) Also, I truly believe that she was the best dancer at O-Bon. She always looked so nice with her kimono, obi and kanzashi! :) I will always remember all 7 of us (the grandchildren) dancing behind her, and following her. Also, I will always remember when she came to vegas for my 21st birthday. I'm so happy that I got to spend my birthday with her! She took us to dinner and after we went gambling! She had so much fun with all of us! :) 

I miss going to Kihei to swim with her and eating lunch with her. I remember the last summer I had with her I spent every Sunday with her--she would swim with me for 30 min. for some exercise and talk about the past and current events, then we would either eat lunch or go to Jamba Juice! I swear that Jamba Juice never tasted so delicious! It hit the spot every time on those hot summer days in Kihei! My grandma would order the peach flavored one (she just loved it). 

I have so many wonderful memories of her, I could type out pages! I know that she is in a better place right now. I know she will always be with me and my family everyday watching over us. I love her and miss her so much!!!

I was influenced by my dear friends, Jalene and Mika to make a blog! I absolutely love reading their blogs, so i figure i give it a try. :) 

For Easter, Melissa, Misha and I colored eggs as we do every year. Our family has been doing this since I could remember. My Grandma Susan always joined us and decorated an egg with Betty Boop on it for each of the kids (never anything else). Meliss and I were going to draw Betty Boop on one of the eggs, but we knew it wouldn't be the same. Instead we colored eggs in memory of family members that were not here with us in Vegas! I must say, the eggs came out pretty cute! :)
